WORK EXPERIENCE.
On the thirteenth, was my Work experience day and it`s now my favourite day of the week, this is because I get to work in something that I really like and enjoy.. THE LIBRARY.
I arrived in to warm welcomes and happy faces and welcomes which is always nice to come into work to, I then put my bag and coat upstairs and then went downstairs to see what the day held in store for me.
I was then told that the staff had to have a meeting about costing and Yes the words CHRISTMAS :D :D so I did some Shelving which is`nt my favourite thing in the world to do but then it turned into me forgetting all about the shelving and putting all the books that are missed placed back into their shelves and THEN did all the proper shelving.
My supervisor then told me I could then have lunch and after we were going to go to Lidil to price some Mince Pie`s and some Mulled Wine for some of the events that are going to occur in the Library. At first I was confused what this has to do with working in a Library but I soon found out that it has all got to do with budgeting and costing to make sure that we actually had the money to buy the product.
I then went back and did the book list
